Psalm 19 celebrates general revelation in the skies and special revelation in Torah. Davidic psalms often closed with personal prayer, linking cosmic praise with integrity in speech and inner thought.
The Narrative — The Lead-Up
After extolling God’s law as sweeter than honey, the psalmist asks who can detect hidden faults and requests cleansing. This closing verse dedicates both speech and silent meditation to God’s approval.
